Greetings again from the “she-shed!” As we prepare to send the kids back to school and college, we are focusing the theme of this newsletter on young people.
As I prepared to send my own son back to college this year, it reminded me that there are some things you can do to ensure that your entire family has the legal documentation they need for any emergency – and that includes your college kids! Our young people, in particular, are facing mental health challenges that are really concerning. The national statistics show that more than 25% of adults ages 18-24 have seriously considered suicide and 18% of high school students reported similar thoughts.
