Renovating the She-Shed

Our original office in Pasadena, Maryland has served as our center of operations for a long time.  Our founder (and Tara’s father), Vernon Frame began working from this location over 70 years ago!  So, it was time for some updates. The old detached garage on the property used to be a storage area, but with a growing team, it was time to make better use of the old garage.

Over the years, our team has expanded and we’ve opened satellite offices in Stevensville, Annapolis, and our newest location in Frederick, Maryland.  But, earlier this year, it was time to add some additional meeting space at our primary office in Pasadena.  First of all, if you’ve visited our office, you know there is always something going on – so we desperately needed a quieter place to meet with clients.  Secondly, the old conference room was on the second floor, which was not conducive to clients who had difficulty getting up the stairs.

We began working with Erica Anselmo to redesign the detached garage that is located on our current property in Pasadena.  Tara explains, “I really wanted to create a new, more modern space, that could serve as a private meeting area for clients while also providing me with a quieter place to work.”   With these goals in mind, Erica laid out the space, helped select furniture and accessories, and really transformed the old garage into what is lovingly referred to now, as the ‘she-shed.’

Today, the new space is the perfect meeting area for the team to collaborate or to meet with clients in a more convenient setting.  It even has a great outdoor patio with seating area to take a break and enjoy some of the beautiful days we experience here in Maryland.   We are grateful for the opportunity to continue to expand to meet our clients needs and thankful to the community for their support.
