Biography

As an estate planning attorney, I provide a compassionate and educational approach to legacy planning and estate and trust administration. I am committed to helping clients feel informed and supported. I view my role as not only an attorney, but also a guide—someone to who help bring structure and understanding to important and complex decisions.

I work closely with individuals and families to develop thoughtful and customized estate plans that help protect assets, minimize estate and income taxes, and direct distributions to intended loved ones. I also strive to make the process of probate and estate administration as straightforward as possible for families. From initial filings through final distribution, I help clients understand each step, stay organized, and move forward with confidence during what is often a difficult time.

Having begun my career in accounting, I bring a unique perspective to estate planning. My background as a tax manager of an estate, gift, and trust group equipped me with the capacity to understand not only the legal structure of a plan, but also the financial and tax aspects that help clients make practical and well-informed decisions.

I believe that walking in your purpose should bring you joy and fulfillment while also uplifting others. As an estate planning attorney, I live this mission by serving as an educator and a translator of complex legalities into clear strategies. It brings me joy to help families secure peace of mind throughout their lives and preserve legacies for the generations that follow.

I am a native of Maryland’s Eastern Shore and enjoy visiting and spending time with my family and friends there. Outside of practicing law I am a full-fledged creative. Among my many creative interests, I enjoy crafting and taking on home improvement projects. I am also a certified balloon artist who specializes in designing balloon costumes.
